Dining experiences
The Kangaroo Valley has something to offer for the most discerning taste buds. Set out below are some of our favourites. You will also find details and brochures in the Cottage.
Great for a pub lunch, wonderful beer garden with amazing views and play equipment for the kids. Warm and welcoming staff and daily specials. Bottle shop sales available.
Award winning restaurant. Perfect for that romantic dinner out with the log fire blazing or enjoy a leisurely breakfast or lunch on the deck watching the world go by. Phone 02 44652820.
Delicious breakfasts and lunches with all the usual offerings and traditional Thai meals at night. One of our favourites. Also does take away. Phone 4465 1314.
Café Bella
Our favourite breakfast spot in town. Nab a table outside if you can.
Jack’s Tin Shed Coffee House
In our opinion, the best coffee in town, babyccinos come complete with a chocolate smiley face.
Grab some fudge, home made jam or a delicious ice cream cone. The Baileys fudge is delicious!
The Bakehouse
Delicious fresh bread and pastries. Grab some supplies and head to the River for a picnic.
We don’t know if these are the World’s Best, but they are certainly the best we’ve ever tried. Delicious crumbly pastry and home cooked fillings, such as country lamb and veg and chilli con carne. The shop is also crammed with all sorts of unique items for sale. Ph 4465 1360.
A lovely winery in a stunning setting. You will feel like you are visiting friends in their home! Famous for its Chamborcin but our favourite is the Jasmine Grace – named for the owner’s grand daughter
