The Cottage
The Secret Garden Cottage has three bedrooms – two Queen bedrooms and one smaller Double bedroom. There are 2 bathrooms, including a master bathroom with a divine corner spa bath built for two. There is also a full laundry with an additional shower and toilet to cater for larger groups.
The beds are made up with luxury linens, pillow top mattresses and plenty of blankets and quilts to keep you toasty on those cold Winter nights. There is an internal combustion fire place to keep the house warm with some fire wood supplied, and fans to cool you down in Summer.
The Cottage is two storeys, with a living room on each floor, so there is plenty of space for everyone to spread out. Read a book in the rocking chair in front of the fire downstairs, whilst the kids watch a DVD from our extensive movie collection upstairs on the brand new Sony flat-screen TV.
The kitchen is a Chef’s delight, with a gas cook top, oven and microwave for you to whip up some tasty treats. Alternatively, you could cook outside under the stars, with a BBQ and Pizza Oven out under the pergola – there is even a fire pit for you to toast some marshmallows for dessert.
The namesake of the Secret Garden Cottage is the beautiful gardens, which beckon you to discover the surprises hidden around every corner…the musical sound of the fountain in the ponds, the garden seats dotted throughout the gardens set in sun-dappled light under the leafy trees and the gorgeous flowers spilling over the pathways. At The Secret Garden Cottage, there is so much to do and so many quiet places for you to enjoy, that you never need venture off the property, but if you are looking to get out and about, there are plenty of options close at hand! See our Things to Do page for some suggestions.
Note fires are only allowed in the purpose built outdoor fire places, subject to any fire restrictions in place at the time of your stay. Please observe all fire restrictions and ensure fires are completely extinguished each night and before your departure.
